Last night Mark and I decided to have a picnic in a near by park (Cari was working late). As we walked to the park we noted the different types of street art that abounds here.
We stopped at a Subway (it was right on the way.....I know, I know.....we're in Amsterdam and we went to a Subway....sue me!) and I got a kick out of the 'cool american' chips. We had to buy some: think they're ranch flavored.
We found a bench in the park: look at our view!
Isn't this a beautiful little park??? The setting kinda makes up for getting Subway, right? Oh well, it was worth a shot.....
As we walked home we watched out for pick pockets.
Basically 'around the block' from Cari's place is the sign above. We like this area at night, all lit up and pretty.
We weren't alone. This gals were so cute huddled under their umbrellas.
Nice night to be out and about. Chilly? Yes. But well worth being out.
Hmmm....a certain young man in our family might like to have a shot at this!
