That Voo Doo that you do so well.

When I asked Linda where she would like to go, she replied Voo Doo Doughnuts. They have been featured on several travel shows, because of their unusual doughnuts, so I wasn't too surprised when she said that. And since I do like myself a doughnut here and there I was up for the challenge.

We had never been to the second location, so Mark used the GPS (thanks Dad!). And lets just say it's a hard building to miss.

Mark found a comfortable chair.

Mark found a pinball machine.

Mark found a list of lots and lots of doughnuts!

Mark found a monster in the parking lot!

Linda was afraid of the monster in the parking lot.

Linda and the monster in the parking lot made nice.

Ahhh!!! The Voo Doo doughnuts were flipping out!

"Oh No! We're on the menu!!!"

Are you ready for the Superbowl?

Well, yes I am, thank you very much.

"Noooo......I TOLD you we're on the menu!!! It's time to panic!!!!!"

Poor Voo Doo Doughnuts.....

Surprise!!!!

So, Saturday night we're going to Cari's to hang out. Maybe play some 'apples to apples'. Oh no: it was a friggin surprise party for our 30th wedding anniversary. Couldn't believe it! We were surprised.

Lots of wonderful folks. So much fun to watch Charlie and Cate have fun with the balloons.

Cari created the cake toppers. I love the fact she got the Burgundy tux and the fu-manchu mustache right on!
And she called this the 'ring of fire'. Loved it!

Cari and Grandpa Chuck. What a team!

I loved the flowers. Beautiful.

Everyone hanging out.

Charlie and Cari became good friends.

Jennifer shows off the card Cari created for us.

Hanging out.

Mark and Rob are both so cute!!

You know, looking at these pictures, Steven has basically the same color on as Mark and Rob. What's with this?

Our loving family. 'All because two people fell in love....."

Oh man, what WERE we thinking???

Jennifer, sad. Hooper, whatever.

Jennifer happy now! Everyone is happy now!

So cute.

HOOPER!!!!

Doug. Hanging out.

Love the cake toppers. Love the flowers. Love the picture that Larissa drew for me. Love having family and friends celebrate with us. Life is wonderful!

Kennedy School

Today was a beautiful, sunny, bright big ole blue sky, day. Loved it!!

Dad and I went out for lunch, and then we took off to the airport and picked up Linda and Glenn. And then we all went out to Kennedy School for dinner. As always the food was so good, and the beer was cold and good as well.

After eating we walked through the hallways checking out all the amazing art.

Wow.

I love the colors, and the theme, of this picture.

So much art to look at! And what a variety of themes!

Linda really liked this because Scott is in boyscouts.

These young ladies are ready for a school event.

This is a painting of Edgefield. Hey Mary Jo, look familiar?

The iron work around this picture is from the old Portland Hotel. I love the fact that it's a piece of Oregon history.

Punch and Judy. Theme, and color, are amazing.

Dad is standing next to a note that is the basis for a piece of art. The note is written to a young lady named Loise, and it was written on the day Dad was born. How cool is that?

Dad loves checking this out each time we go there.

Hey wait: he found another note to Lois, written on the day he was born! Gads!

Isn't it cute?

Hey, another note to Lois, but not written on Dad's birthday.

ANOTHER ONE! Lois was one popular girl.

This is in one of the bars: there are several.

I love the artwork. So much to see.

Counting is good.

This is a picture from an article in the Ladies Home Journal many, many years ago. I'm so glad that Kennedy School is well and thriving.
