We had our team meeting last Thursday.
This little sweetie is great at fundraising. She goes around the neighborhood and asks for change for Relay, and collects cans and bottles. She's a star in my eyes.
At the meeting one of the gals told me she had something for me.
It turns out she has a friend who works for the Winterhawks. When she told him she had a friend who was a big fan he gave her this stick to give to me. Pouliot is a great player and I'm excited to have it.
Yes, I know it's just a broken hockey stick.
But I like that Denise was excited and happy to give it to me.
And life should be filled of being happy for stuff like this.
I'm happy!
