Another PTC is in the books.

Friday morning, nice and early, Team 'Save the Ta-Tas' began gathering at 3:30 am to begin the journey from Portland, Oregon, to Seaside, Oregon.

Our fearless leader Rachel is prepared.

See?  She's got this down!

This year we did something very different for our team.  We went with 8 walkers in one van, and we had three drivers, so that each would only drive for a while and a new, fresh driver could take over.
This is Alfredo: he was new to PTC and we were so happy to show him the ways of PTC.  He was AMAZING.  So funny and calm and gosh darn nice.  We want him back next year!!!

See why we like him?  He's a ta-ta kind of guy1

I've never thought of my ta-tas as contrary.....interesting.....

We decorated the van as we waited for Liza, our first walker, to complete her first leg.

Can you guess why we got a lot of smiles, and picture taking, as we made our way?

We decided that we needed our team's name on the front of the van

Ana was a good sport and got herself up there to get the job done.

Toni prepares for her first leg.

You GO girl!

It's one of the best feelings when you finish one of your legs.
Oh, it's actually kind of cool to start, but when you finish: oh yes!

The yoga mat and roller got a lot of use after legs.
Stretching is good.

You go girl!

While waiting for one of our walkers to complete her leg we notice this team's sign.

Oh yeah!  We all had our picture taken with it.
A big thank you to those gals waiting to take off so we could do this.  PTC folks are the best.

Ana, you are so stylish.

Different teams would 'tag' other fans.  So fun!

Coffee....oh man, how could you not love this?

Oh Toni, you are so funny.

Go Ana!

Relaxing between legs

Well look who I found!  Hey Kathy.

Mary, Kathy, 'flat' MJ, and porta potties.
Welcome to PTC my friends.

Getting ready for the next leg to begin.

Go Julie!

Our next driver was Josh.  Josh has done Hood to Coast, so he knows our ways.
He and Alfredo were good sports and poised for Rachel.

We have the best people on our team.

Maureen prepares for her leg.

All smiles before she begins.

Ana and Julie hang out.
Oh Ana, you vixen you!

A little bit of horse play occurred before Ana's leg.

Josh, you knew the job was dangerous when you took it!

Mmmmm.....Julie's famous banana bread.  So. Darn. Good.

Saturday morning.

Part of the joy of PTC are the views, especially in the morning.
I LOVE living in the Pacific Northwest.

Liza, in the black shirt, was our final driver.
She knows the ways of PTC big time.

Walking.  Walking.  Walking......

Go Tracey (on the left). You're almost done!

And Maureen is about to begin.

Great job Tracey.

I'm getting ready here for the final leg.

Look at my happy face: I'm about to walk the final leg into Seaside.
Almost time for breakfast and a 'real' bathroom!!!  A running toilet!!
Porta potties are handy when you need them, but after PTC I've had my fill for the year.

We are done, and everyone is hanging out on the beach at Seaside.
Beautiful, sunny day.

Another year for PTC has come and gone.
Thank you to my fellow Ta-Tas: I had a great time and can't wait until next year.
