Stonehedge

Mark and I took off Saturday morning to see Matt and Sandra.  Lovely Oregon weather on our way....sigh......

We stopped by the recreation of Stonehedge.  It's a memorial to the local young men killed in WWI.  Very touching.

Lovely views.  Sam Hill, who built the memorial, chose a perfect spot to honor those young men.  He's buried right down below where I'm standing.

There are plaques for each young man on the memorial.  Dewey shares a birthday with Doug and Megan: he was so young when he died.  Thanks to Sam Hill Dewey, and the other young men, will never be forgotten.
