Doug talked to Cari today for about an hour: sounds like they had a great conversation and when Doug told Cari he wasn't sure where he wanted to go out for dinner she suggested Mexican food, and sure enough, that was a winner idea! We took Doug, Dustin, and Blake out. We talked and ate and had a great time. Happy 21st Birthday Doug. I can't believe you're growing up so fast. 
Went and met Kathy, Charlie, and MJ at the Forest Grove Relay. On my way I stopped by Forest Grove Hospital: Cari was born there and I wanted to take a picture. It's such a small hospital, and they don't do births any longer, but that's a shame. It was such a wonderful place to have a baby. They were so sweet and I'm glad we had Cari there. Very special. I had a great time catching up with Kathy and MJ, and then I walked the track with Angie and Carol. Wonderful evening. Forest Grove Relay has an amazing spirit: I was very impressed!!!
Steven is now the proud owner of his first car. A Honda. He got a great deal on it, Hooper gave it a 'thumbs up', so now he's ready to roll. 
Today has been a great day. Badmiton was played. Nick came over to visit before moving down to LA and pursure an acting career. We walked in a beautiful park, drinking an iced coffee, and just enjoying being out in the sunshine. Lovely way to spend the 4th of July!
