Today was a great day. The sun was shining, and Ellie Rose came over to play. Is she not a doll?
Deacon was VERY jealous. Not mean at all, in fact he was VERY gentle with her. But he did want to be in the middle of everything she was involved with, and he wanted us to LOOK AT HIM. Crazy dog. Ellie took it all in stride. She was as good as could be. And I mean it: good as gold.
We took a walk to Metzger School, hung out a while, went down a slide or two, and enjoyed the sunshine (heck, it's Oregon: you never know how long it's gonna last).
Then it was time for Peek:
A BOO!
She has this down pat. My kind of gal.
She has her own laptop, and she's very computer savvy.
She liked hanging out with Steven and Doug, and they liked hanging out with her. She was in great spirits all day, smiling, laughing, and was very busy all day. We all really enjoyed her company. She's very loved, and it shows.
Okay, so she did have some problems trying to get the bowl.
I tried helping out, was informed, quite firmly I might add, that my help was not needed, and she spent quite some time trying to get that bowl to fit through the slats. Hey, it kept her busy, she was enjoying it, so I told her go for it girlfriend!
Finally her batteries ran out, and she crashed. Man, she's even cuter asleep. I didn't think she could be any cuter. What a fun day.
