While reading one of the blogs I like I came across some cute cupcake toppers. They can print up just about anything! Clip art, etc. Amazing. One of the cutest toppers they had was a 'wiener' dog (that's how she put it!) with a birthday hat on: wonder WHO I thought about when I saw that one? Hmmm....a certain family in Washington the State?
But they were 15 dollars for 12, so so go for me. But, while in JoAnns, I found some by Wilton on sale for 3 dollars for 12. Oh yes, that I can handle. So I decided to give them a try and they're so easy and fun to use.
Mark, on the other hand, has been getting bids on laying the floor (and painting). He got the name of one fellow from the store he bought the flooring at. Could he be the one?
My new toy. Hold 24 cupcakes, or one big ole cake. And collapses, so it's easy to store! Love it!
The designs were so pretty, and I had fun practicing pipping. Gonna work on that.
I baked up some cupcakes, with cream cheese frosting, and dipped in chocolate. Mmmm...so good.
Loving it!
I think this guy is our guy. He came out, gave us an estimate, and we'll see what we come up with. Yeah! Cupcakes and flooring. A match made in Heaven. Right.

Deacon vs the blanket
Steven tied a blanket around Deacon's middle. At first he didn't mind it at all, but after a while he decided it was time to take it off........

March Madness
Ah, life in the lovely month of March. Here Crystal, Doug (love the face), and Steven (blurry boy) hang out.
Watching themselves some basketball. Go Blazers!
At Thanksgiving I'd gotten a free turkey, so we decided to cook it up. I had invited Cari and Richard over, got our times mixed up (my fault), and so now I owe those two a turkey dinner. I really do. Deacon thinks he should get their share.
Not a chance. But Mark and I did drop some turkey and stuffing off at their house Monday night. We're good parents that way.
Lire is looking for a hand out.
Doug bought himself a big ole fish tank! It's actually pretty cool.
At the RMH some girl scouts decorated the dining room for Easter. Very festive!
Streamers just say 'party time', don't they?
The picture wall is getting fuller and fuller.
Funny!
More funny! Jennifer is a kick! She went through all the leftovers, and came up with a pretty darn good soup. We were calling her the 'soup nazi'. Good soup, and a rousing game of 'apples to apples'. Fun evening.
Peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. So good.
Chocolate and pecan cookies. Good!
Happy St Pat's Day everyone!!!

St Pat's Parade 2010
St Pat must have been with us, because the weather was pretty darn nice! Fantastic! I mean, we do live in Oregon, and it is March. Sigh.
But the weather held, we had a great turnout, and don't Pat and Rhonda look adorable? Pat so loves doing the parade, and Rhonda and I are glad to help her celebrate the green!
We discovered shortly before the parade that we had a candy shortage, so Rhonda and I ran to WinCO.
'Hey, get out of our way! We got a parade we got to get to!'
This little cutie is Scooby. Very cute.
And we all know being very cute can make you very tired.
We knew we were in good hands, with the Hillsboro Police Dept out in force. I got a kick out of the smirk he gave me when I stopped to take his picture, and Angie laughing at me while I did it.
Speaking of Angie, here she is with Carol and our first place trophy. How fun is that? We were very spirited and I think we deserved it. Good job ladies. These are some of my favorite people.
Gathering.
Is she not a cutie? We Relay for young ladies like this.
Her friends were a kick!
Her friends made new friends.
Again. Why we Relay.
I've used these signs for four years now. Go Relay!
Marie. I love, love, love her. She is such an inspiration, and always so thoughtful and kind. Her picture should be next to the description of kindness in the dictionary. She truly wants to get information out to the public on cancer awareness. She is a Relay Star to me.
You go Rhonda. You Relay For Life.
All done. Wrapping up. I think everyone had a good time. And I hope we got the word out there about Relay. Come on folks, let's kick cancers butt!!!!

Happy Birthday Jennifer!
Today is Jennifer's 21st birthday. And if you've ever had one, you KNOW how important that is!
We're so glad to have her in our family. She and Steven have such a good relationship, and we love it when she's over and hanging out. I mean, she even got Steven in a tux. Come on here! And they both looked GOOD.
Here is Jennifer before her 21st birthday....
And here is Jennifer after.....not really, but just use this as a guide.
She even got us free tickets to a Blazer game (and good ones at that!). What a gal!
And she's always styling (not many gals could pull this off). We adore her, and wish her a very happy day and a very happy life. She's amazing.
